As the year begins, the ECIR Group enters its 26th year. 

Dr. Eleanor M Kellon, Head Volunteer Advisor, comments:

As ECIR Group moves into the next chapter, I am most proud of how we got here. Our vision isn't clouded. We don't have an agenda, so we can afford to look at the facts as the facts.

What we hope is that ECIR will carry on with the same principles and the same format that it has now, where the welfare of the individual animal is still a focal point. Where it's about the safest and the most effective treatments. Where the information that we disseminate is not coming from any area where we're going to profit in some way, because we're just not.  

The ECIR Group is grateful for all supporters who make it possible to do this volunteer-driven work for the horses.
